Photographs of the Kinnear family, circa 1860-1925 [graphic].

Photographs of the Kinnear family is an intentionally assembled collection consisting of thirteen portrait photographs on carte de visite mounts and cabinet cards of various members of the Kinnear family between the 1860s and the 1925. While the collection includes one group portrait, most of the images depict five of the Kinnear men (Charles, George, Ritchie, Roy, and John) in various stages of youth. Two photographs were made at the Kinnear family home in the Queen Anne neighborhood of Seattle. Some items dating from the 1880s were the products of Seattle area studio photographers. Earlier items include portraits made by studio photographers in Illinois and Michigan during the 1870s-1880s.
